  • So, you’re interested in computer forensics colleges in the state of Alaska? The only problem is in the state of Alaska there just aren’t any colleges or universities with computer forensics degrees. This is not an uncommon occurrence.
  • With computer forensics being such a new career across the country there aren’t too many schools with such a program. Luckily, computer forensic training, certifications and degrees can be had through online venues.
  • In Alaska there is the University of Alaska in Anchorage, the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, and University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, AK. Juneau is the capital city of Alaska with more than 30,000 residents. University of Alaska Southeast is a liberal studies college, not even offering computer science programs, like its sister colleges in Fairbanks and Anchorage.
  • There are also many community and 2 year colleges which offer similar programs in computer science in Alaska. However, there are no schools in Alaska State which offer computer forensic programs. With many isolated areas throughout its vast land, Alaska residents seeking education in computer forensic training are still not at any disadvantage.
