  • Public sector computer forensic examiners are employed by the military, intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies, and government regulatory agencies. Examples of these agencies include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Homeland Security, Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services, Internal Revenue Service, Securities and Exchange Commission, and state and local police departments.
